Very busy and couldn't keep up

December 16, 2025

The lounge itself was nice and comfortable with a view out over the city and Taipei 101. The staff was great and always helpful. During breakfast and dinner, they checked your room number as you arrived so you couldn’;t bring in any unauthorized guests.

With a Club Access Award, breakfast is provided in the lounge (Globalists have the choice of breakfast in the lounge or at the restaurant). The lounge breakfast was sufficient with typical western fare – made-to-order egg station, bacon, potatoes, breads, cereals, and fruit. Things seemed to be managed well for breakfast and it was never overly crowded. I assume most Globalists would take breakfast in the restaurant as it is a much better offering.

During the day, there are some small snacks and soft drinks / water are available.

While breakfast ran smoothly, the evening snacks were a crazy affair. Having read other reviews and knowing it would be busy, we got there a little before 5:30pm each night to make sure we got a table. While the food itself is decent (nothing truly outstanding) and more than enough variety for a dinner, the staff have difficulty keeping the stations filled due to how busy the lounge is. For the alcohol (beer, wine, and liquor available), the hostess would serve you which could cause a bit of a queue waiting to get drinks.
