Bethesda Marriott M Club

January 27, 2025

This is a really nice lounge. You can see some of the seating areas in the pictures. Three separate TV areas with large screen TVs.

Unlike so many of the newer lounges, this one doesn’t feel sterile and cafe like.

It is open 24/7 for coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Fruit, chips, etc. one thing that really stood out for me. There was always a full ice bucket in the lounge.

Evening food offerings were very well done. Dried chicken fingers, a Brussels Sprouts and almonds dish (My wife loved this one), salads, meat and cheese platter and desserts.

This reminds me so much of what the lounges were like pre COVID. Sadly, most of the rest of the US properties don’t come close. I think this is one of the Marriott hotels.

The young lady that fixed some wonderful omelets for breakfast has been here 42 years. She said she still sees Mr Marriott occasionally.

Breakfast is the Coopers Hill buffet in the restaurant. Great Omelette and crisp bacon!

You access this through a door from the lounge to the buffet area. Similar arrangement to some other hotels.

Excellent American buffet.
