You would expect a property located right on Copacabana beach with uninterrupted views over the beach and the city to have an executive lounge that takes advantage of this. But no, this lounge is a small room on the ground floor looking out to the street complete with roadwork noise and beggars coming up to the plate glass windows asking for food which was very uncomfortable.
On the plus side the food was good, the spirits were self service and for breakfast they had bacon (which was curiously absent from the main buffet upstairs). The one pro of the location is it’s handy for filling water bottles up or grabbing a drink when you’re on your way back from a day of exploring.
